E. H. Welch

“E. H.” Welch, born September 19, 1942 in Greensburg, Louisiana passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Olevia Welch and his sister, Dorothy Nell Connely and an infant sister, Joyce Welch. He is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Mike and wife, Leigh, step-daughter, Holly Travis and step-son, Kenny Velen, grandchildren, Colton Terrell and Olivia Welch, his dear sister, Willie Murl Welch, his brother, Eddie and his wife, Wilma, his brother, Walter and his wife, Ella, brother, James and his wife, Murleen, and numerous nieces and nephews. E.H was an innovative entrepreneur who founded and sold two businesses. When he retired, he vowed to enjoy everyday with family and friends, riding horses, staying at his camp, or riding his motorcycle . E.H. lived his life to the fullest; He will truly be missed but not forgotten. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Services conducted by Rev.
