work at it with all your heart,

as though you were working for the Lord and not for people.”

Mrs. Barbara Bauch had surgery Monday, but is now home and progressing well.

Mrs. Mary Womack is in North Oaks.  Please pray for her.

Mr. Bobby Lawson is in the VA hospital in Jackson.  Add him to your prayer list.

Pray for those from our area who are helping with Disaster Relief in the northeast.  Pray they will let God “glow” through them.

Thanksgiving: Day 8

Today, I am thankful God allowed me to be born into my family where I was loved, guided, and cared for each and every day.  I’m thankful for the role the extended family played in my life.  During the past year, I have enjoyed helping to care of my daddy (who is still very independent) and learning more about his life.  I appreciated his simple ways of saying he appreciates what I do for him.  We have been close for many years, but we are closer now.  I think of this relationship as a great blessing!
