Today is the day to get your donations for those flooded out in Franklinton to FBC, Kentwood.  Don’t just say you want to help, gather up some things from your house, make a shopping trip for cleaning supplies, or give a check made out to Baptist Association of Southeast Louisiana (Disaster Relief).  Do your part to help those in our area who were hit the hardest by Isaac.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Tuesday Evening

Jennifer Pittman had the last round of chemo today.  Pray that when she gets her next texts done, they show she is doing well.

Sherry Day had a check-up today.  Let’s all pray she got a good report.

Jimmy Schwartz is in the ER again.  Pray for him and his family through these difficult times.

Susan Rimes needs our continued prayers.  Those stones have been tough.

Carol Jean Conerly is slowly recovering from her recent test.  Pray she is completely well soon.

Don’t forget to go through some extra items you have at home and/or make a trip to the store to buy some items to take to our district missions office to be used for families who where flooded out last week in Franklinton.  This is an easy way to do missions that help locally.  If it were your family, you would need to replace a lot of items to “get on your feet” again.  Money is also accepted.  Take your items/money to FBC, Kentwood tomorrow morning.  Leave the items in the front hall near the fellowship hall.

Tuesday

“God gives us many kinds of special abilities,

but it is the same Spirit who is the source of them all.

There are different kinds of service to God,

but it is the same Lord we are serving.

There are many ways in which God works in our lives,

but it is the same God who works in and through all of us.”

~1 Corinthians 12:4-6 LB~

Dee Newcomb continues to improve.  Thank God for his progress.

The two year old we are praying for got to go home for four hours yesterday.  Thank God for that time with the family, especially for the siblings.

I pray your world is returning to “normal” now that Isaac is gone.  Pray for and physically help those who need a helping hand.
