David Allen was have tests today to evaluate his progress with cancer treatment.  Pray for a good report.

Update: All clear, no sign of cancer after 5 months!! All is well!!

Andy Taylor will get results of his evaluation of his right wrist Monday in Hattisburg.  Pray something can be done for him.

A resident of Kentwood, he died at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was born July 14, 1933 in Amite and was 79 years of age. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and at New Zion Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Services conducted by Rev. Richard Sandberg and Rev. Jason Foster. Interment New Zion Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by, Son, Brandon Carter, Denham Springs; sister, Elsie Johnson, Pine Grove; brother, Charlie “Tony” Carter, Pine Grove.
