Sunday

“Still, if you set your heart on God and reach out to him,

If you scrub your hands of sin and refuse to entertain evil in your home,

You’ll be able to face the world unashamed and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless.

You’ll forget your troubles; they’ll be like old, faded photographs.”

~Job 11:13-16 MSG~

Mrs. Evelyn Bridges is doing better.  She plans to be at church today if at all possible.  Thank God for her sweet spirit and love for her family, her church, and God.

Mrs. Kathryn Kuss has a broken rib and two black eyes from her fall.  She’s very thankful she was not hurt any more in her fall.  She also plans to be in church today.

Mrs. Shirley Frazier is planning to attend church today too.  She want to see a pastor at the New Zion homecoming today.  Pray the outing will be a good experience and encouragement for her to get out more.

Mr. Phillip and “Miss” Annie Bell Harrell are about the same.  Thank God for those who call and visit them regularly to take the church to them.

Donnie Travis of Arcola woke up with speech and balance problems yesterday.  After a shunt procedure, a temporary fix, he is scheduled to see a specialist early in the week.  Please pray for Donnie and his family.

The Georgia Barnette Week of Prayer for Louisiana missions begins today.  The them is Awaken to Joy.
