“(God our Savior) desires all men to be saved

and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

~1 Timothy 2:4~

Nikki Newell is doing better after a medicine change.  Please continue to pray for this young lady.

Velta Morris’ first round of treatment went well.  Continue to keep her in your prayers.

Say special prayers for Andy Taylor today and tomorrow as he has lengthy evaluations of his right hand which will possible lead to surgery.

The Senior Adult Revival was very good yesterday.  The congregational singing of hymn was beautiful.  Today’s meeting is at New Sharon which is in the Husser community located south of highway 16 east of Amite.  If you go, you surely will be blessed.

Disaster Relief efforts still underway

Disaster Relief efforts are still underway in Southern Louisiana. As of Sept. 10, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers — responding to Hurricane Isaac in Louisiana and Mississippi — have prepared almost 153,000 meals, completed 150 chainsaw and mud-out jobs, attached plastic roof sheeting on at least 125 homes, provided more than 3,800 showers and laundry loads, made more than 2,500 Gospel presentations and ministry contacts, and recorded five professions of faith. Please continue to pray for individuals and churches affected as well as for the wisdom and endurance of the Disaster Relief workers.  If you would like to contribute to the LBC Disaster Relief Fund you can find more information at www.LBC.org/DRFund.
