A resident of Kentwood, he died at 9:10 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond at 63 years of age. He was born January 4, 1949 in Bastrop and was a U. S. Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pearson; daughter, Rebecca Pearson; 4 grandchildren; numerous step-sons, step-daughters and step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gloria Newberry and Glenda Leggin; a brother, David Pearson; step-sister, Eileen Graham; step-brother, John Graham; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Pearson and Rosalie Legier; sister, Sharon McMickens; brother, Calvin Pearson.
