Thursday Afternoon

Thank-you to those who brought clothing, bedding, cleaning suppliers, etc. to the church for delivery to the families who were flooded out.  I appreciate how quickly you responded and how well you provided for this need.  May God richly bless you for the way you respond to a need, not just to a family you know.  I know the items you gave will be so appreciated by those who receive them.

Susan Rimes is in Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge for observation.  She has two kidney stones who seem to be having a contest to see who can stay in place longer than the other one!  Susan’s fever is better.  Keep Susan and her family in your prayers.

Mrs. Avis Sullivan has another infection and is hospitalized again.  Keep this sweet lady in your prayers too.

A former student, Cindy, requests prayer for her mother, Sue Knight,  who is also being admitted to the hospital.  She’s at North Oaks.

Jimmy Schwartz has been moved to a room that is a step-down from ICU.  Jimmy has an infection and pneumonia.  His family requests that you pray for Jimmy.
