Last night while visiting Mr. and Mrs. Edward McGeehe we learned some interesting information I think some of you might be interested in.  Mr. Ed and his father, along with some other men, worked for Mr. Ed’s grandfather who was in charge of building the auditorium for FBC, Kentwood.  This was more than sixty years ago.  Mr. Ed said he was the only one of the crew still living.  He told how work was done before power tools and specialized equipment.  If we had not visited him last night, I wouldn’t have this great story to share.  We have lots of people who worked/served in our church and all the other churches around us, who helped provide our places of worship.  Check around.  You may have some interesting stories to share with members of your church.  Say a special prayer of thanks for men like these.
