Michael Allen Eldridge was born July 17, 1967 and died August 24, 2012 at the age of 45 years. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and was a resident of Kentwood, LA. He was a member of Lewiston Baptist Church. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Wilson Eldridge of Kentwood, sons, Michael Dwayne Eldridge of Kentwood, Orry Allen Eldridge, and Allen Emery Eldridge of Hammond, LA, stepsons, Jeremy Schenk and wife, Tara of Kentwood, Corey Schenk of Kentwood, and Cody Wilson of Kentwood, mother, Mildred Eldridge of Kentwood, sisters, Tammy McDaniel and husband, Scott of Kentwood, Tracie Eldridge of Kentwood, Kristy Strickland and husband, Chris of Cannon Falls, MN, a very special granddaughter, Kadyn Schenk, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Dusty Eldridge, father, Allen Eldridge, and sister, Tina Eldridge. Visitation at Lewiston Baptist Church, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012. Services conducted by Rev. Leon Carpenter and Rev. Corey Morris. Interment will be at Lewiston Cemetery, Kentwood. Pallbearers will be Trey Harrison, Paul Bridges, Kenny Hardy, Jessie Strickland, Tim Day and Tracy Stevens.
