A resident of Osyka, MS, died on Thursday, August 9, 2012 near Kentwood. She was born April 1, 1969 in Mt. Sterling, KY and was 43 years of age. She was a Special Education Teacher at O. W. Dillon Elementary School in Kentwood. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Earl Strickland, Osyka, MS; step-daughter, Kristy Dawn Morris and husband, Sean, Houston, TX; father, Edwin Davis, Mt. Sterling, KY; sister, Marsha Chavez and husband, Fidel, Lexington, KY; brother, Joe Davis and wife, Jane, Huntsville, AL; 6 nieces and nephews, Anna Davis, Daiquiri Atkins, Nikki Tucker, R. T. Tucker, Alex Chavez and Justin Chavez. Preceded in death by her mother, Clara Jane Harp Davis. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Services conducted by Rev.
