Sometimes, we are patiently, or even anxiously waiting, for a door to open.  Sometimes we don’t have any idea a door is going to open.  Whatever it situation, God is in charge of the doorknob.  Let Him decide whether or not to open the door for you.  He’s in charge!

Elizabeth Spring Felps Browning
(November 29, 1939 – July 26, 2012)

She passed from this life on July 26, 2012 while residing at Hilltop Village Nursing Home in Kerrville, TX. She was born November 29, 1939 in Roseland and was 72 years of age. She retired as an accounting manager with GMAC; was very active in helping others in any way she could, especially with her tremendous talent of cooking; and departed from this life with a great love for the Lord. She is survived by her 3 sons, Kenneth L. Felps and wife, Stephanie Rovira Felps, Livingston, Keith K. Felps and wife, Mary Lee Felps, Kerrville, TX and Wendell W. Felps, Kerrville, TX; 6 grandchildren, Emily, Madeline, Sarah, Anthony, Miriam, and Abigail Felps. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. “Kenny” Browning; parents, Floville “Bill” and Ruby Elizabeth Spring; brother, Chester E. Spring. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Roseland, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Services conducted by Bro. Larry Blades and Bro. Keith K Felps.
