Pray for my youngest son, Carlos, who within an hour, is taking 120 people from his choir and orchestra for a weeklong series of concerts in Brazil, where both he and his son were born.

 

Judy Hendry Pritchett
(March 25, 1944 – June 28, 2012)

A resident of Roseland, she died at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 25, 1944 in Baton Rouge and was 68 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Pritchett, Roseland; son, Robby Chadwick, Amite; 2 grandsons, Colby and Boddy Chadwick; brother, James Elmer Hendry and wife, Martha, Covington; brother-in-law, Mike Reid, Roseland; 2 special nephews, Brian Reid and his wife, Monica, Roseland and Brent Reid and wife, Cheryl, Ponchatoula. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Velma Hendry; 2 sisters, Cora Belle Villeneuve and Evelyn Reid; her four legged son, Fred. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola. (Since David and I are from Roseland, we have known Judy and her family all our lives.  Judy and David were classmates from the first grade through graduation and I grew up next door to the Pritchett family.)
