Monday

“Then Jesus said to His disciples,

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

~Matthew 16:24-25, NKJV~

Mr. Donald Spring is going home today.  “Miss” Evelyn said she didn’t know which of them was the happiest about this.  Pray he makes a good transition from rehab to home.

Marsha C. Bankston goes back to Ochsner in New Orleans tomorrow.  Pray she can receive her chemo treatment without any complications.

Thursday will be the day for the Third Thursday meeting at the cabin.  If you have been thinking about coming, please do so.  Everyone is invited.  We fellowship as we eat supper, have  devotional, and pray.  We meet at 6:30.  Contact me if you need driving directions.

We went to East Fork Baptist Church last night to hear their youth and especially to hear Cobey Hendry speak.  Wow!  He was so comfortable speaking and so founded in his beliefs.  God used Colby in a big way!  The church was almost full.  The Spirit of the Lord was surely present.  We were blessed!
