“Be anxious for nothing,

but in everything by prayer and supplication,

with thanksgiving,

let your requests be made known to God.”

~Philippians 4:6~

Angie Redmond

Angie is now in Rm. 3110. She was moved here this afternoon. Wayne and I each visited her today and found her in suprisingly good spirits.

Grace Helen Felker

“Miss” Grace Helen is still very sick.  A complete diagnosis has not been made yet.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Thank God for the rain received Thursday afternoon.  We were in need of it.  God sent it right on time.

I was blessed to see some of the finds of the seminary (NOBTS) team and meet some of those who participate in their digs.  I’m impressed they were able to accomplish so much recently.  Mostly, I’m impressed God has allowed them to find such old places and things.  I can’t imagine being there, but I’m glad they were.

We see many trucks on the interstate that are delivering food.  Holley Gerth compares us to a food truck.  I think she is right.

Thinking ahead to Father’s Day, I thought some of you dads might be encouraged by reading these Baptist Press articles.  They’re about training children to make an impact on the world (and God’s kingdom).

Plan to do something special with/for your dad this weekend.  If you no longer have a dad, do something for a dad who might not be receiving special attention this weekend.  Bless them and receive the greater blessing!

Have a great day!  Make some special memories this weekend with your dad or a dad you know.
