“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life;

and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life.”

~John 3:36a, NKJV~

Ora Lee Wilson asks for prayer for Shantell Billiot and her husband.  They were in hopes to adopt some foster children this week, but the judge gave a parent six months to become a real parent.  Shantell and her husband were really looking forward to having the children permanently.  Pray for their broken hearts.  Pray the final outcome of this situation is what is best for the children.

Mr. “Cete” Dillon is still not 100% well.  More tests were done yesterday.  Pray for him to feel 100% soon.

Mrs. Mary Y. Miller has four more weeks of keeping off her foot.  Pray her foot is completely healed at that time.

David Allen was released from North Oaks last night.  Pray he can get to feeling much better soon.

Mrs. Oma Zachary learned she has recovered from heart surgery enough that she can return to her home in Amite.

Mr. Donald Spring continues to improve at rehab in Kentwood.  Pray he will soon be able to go home.

Marsha Bankston got a port for dialysis this week.  Pray the kidney problem will get better so she can continue the chemo.  Pray for Larry as he stand by Marsha’s side.

I have discovered that my Wednesday morning post is not here.  I had posted the VBS schedules for various churches.  I’ll try to repost that this afternoon.

Pray for FBC, Kentwood as we have our last day of VBS today and family night tonight at 7:00.  This will be followed by a fellowship with homemade cookies and brownies.  Come to support and encourage the children.

I think and hope many of you may be interested in this Baptist Press article.
