A resident of Amite, she died at her home early Monday, April 30, 2012. She was 56. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm at her home. She is survived by her husband, Phil Bankston and her two children, LaShay Bankston and Scott Bankston. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice .
