Jimmy Schwartz called yesterday evening when he got home to say he wouldn’t be able to come to last night’s meeting.  His return to Kentwood was delayed yesterday so he could get another unit of blood.  Continue your prayers for Jimmy and his family.

The Third Thursday meeting last night was good.  Christian fellowship is the best!  Mark your calendar for next month.

Ladies, plan to attend the brunch Saturday morning at 10:00.  We will be celebrating the completion of James: Mercy Triumphs.  If you didn’t work through the study with us, come on anyway for the Christian fellowship.  If you need directions or other information, please feel free to call me.

The North American Mission Offering (named for missionary Annnie Armstrong) is being received in church across the Southern Baptist Convention.  There has always been a need for mission work here and continues to be that way.  Read this Baptist Press story about one church in the Appalachian area and determine to help with your prayers, your love offering, and/or your muscles.
