A resident of Amite, he died at 12:09 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Francisville Country Manor in St. Francisville. He was born August 11, 1926 in Evansville, was 85 years of age and a was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Visitation at Community Baptist Church, Greensburg, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 12 Noon on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Services conducted by Rev. Larry Stewart. Survived by wife, Jean Myers; daughter, Rosanna Diane Stewart and her husband, Larry; grandchildren, Chris Stewart and his wife, Jennifer, Melissa Stewart, Jermey Stewart, Laura Webb and her husband, Ronny; 2 great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Ian Stewart; 5 sisters, Dorothy, Margie, Joanne, Shirley and Carolyn; 2 brothers, Richard and Donald Myers.
