Joseph A. “Joe” Catha, Jr. was born September 29, 1935 and passed away at 3:10 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 76, a native and resident of Amite.
Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Andrus Catha, Amite; sister, Minnie Lou King and husband John Earl, Baton Rouge and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joe A. and Lucetta Davis Catha, Sr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Cecile Andrus.
Visitation at McKneely and Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until Celebration of Life Services at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with Bro. John Fulda officiating. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA.
