Saturday

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think,

according to the power at work within us,

to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,

forever and ever. Amen.’”

~Ephesians 3:20-21, ESV~

Pray for Mrs. Shirley Frazier.  The family is planning to bring her to Kentwood for the weekend.  I’m not sure it happened, but pray that “Miss” Shirley has a good weekend wherever she is.

I got some computer messages from Marsha Bankston.  She has an awesome outlook as a “Child of God” and will be seeing an oncologist for the next step.  Marsha invites you to continue to pray for her and her family.  She’s a real “trooper” because she knows she is in God’s hands!

We will celebrate part of the Easter weekend with “Mug & Muffin” at FBC, Kentwood this morning.  Ladies and girls are invited to bring their favorite mug to enjoy some coffee, tea, milk, juice, etc. to go with the muffins we plan to share.  Join us at 10:00 and have some questions for my favorite female missionaries – Jennie, Mallory, and Madison Hatchel.  Let’s celebrate part of the Easter weekend together.

Thought for the Day: Before morning can come

The meaning of each day of the Easter weekend is special.  I can face Friday and Saturday because I know the meaning of Easter morning.  It’s not chocolate candy or colored eggs.  It’s “Up from the Grave He Arose” and “Victory in Jesus”!

Jesus is indeed the reason for the Easter season!
