A resident of Greensburg, he died at 12:34 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Helena Parish Hospital in Greensburg. He was born November 3, 1963 in Baton Rouge and was 48 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Tina Cox; 2 sons, Brandon Cox and wife, Taylor and Lance Cox; 2 granddaughters, Kennadie and Makenzie; mother, Rachel Cox, all of Greensburg; 3 sisters, Brenda Castillo and husband, Roger, Amite, Angela Lagasse and husband, Clint, Austin, TX and Deborah Lea and husband, Kernan, Kentwood. Preceded in death by his father, Winfred Cox. Visitation at First Baptist Church, Greensburg, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012. (July 11, 1928 – April 2, 2012)

A resident of Amite, she died at 9:20 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at her home. She was born July 11, 1928 in Independence and was 83 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Joe A. Currier, Amite; 2 sons, Charles Currier, Gonzales and Thomas Currier and wife, Kathy, Amite; a daughter, Judy C. Williams and husband, Jimmy, Amite; 12 grandchildren, Brad Currier and wife, Tiffany, Andy Currier and wife, Mary Margaret, Todd Currier, Adam Currier, Cody Currier, Jason Williams, Jamie Vaughn, Jenna Vaughn and fiancé, Clinton Blades, Clay Currier, Jill Currier, Grant Currier and Holly Currier Capell; 8 great-grandchildren, Turner and Tate Currier, Lindsie, Emilie and Allie Currier, Madeline Kohan, Connor O’Neal and Peyton Capell; a sister, Loretta Abene, Hammond; numerous nieces and nephews including Carleen A. Wardle and husband, Dan and their children, Abney and Brayden. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Carleen Piazza Giambrone; brother, Guice Giambrone.
