Norman H. Brescher was born January 6, 1947 and passed away at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 65, a native of Independence and resident of Amite, LA.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Lindsey Brescher & Chatta Brescher; mother, Mrs. Estelle Brescher; sister, Brenda Addison; brother, Leslie Brescher; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Addison, Chelsea Hymer & Molly Parker; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Addison; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceded in death by his father, John W. Brescher; son Jeremy Norman Brescher; daughter, Korie L. Newman; brother, Stanley Brescher; 2 nephews, Keith Brescher & James Norman.
Visitation at McKneely and Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until Celebration of Life Services at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Interment in Lee Cemetery, Amite, LA.
