A resident of Kentwood, he died on Monday, June 27, 2011 at St. Helena Parish Hospital in Greensburg. He was born August 22, 1939 in Morgan City and was 71 years of age.

Bobby “Bull” Lambert

After a lenghthy illness, Bobby went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his wife and family on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond. He was born March 8, 1938 in Franklinton and was 73 years of age. He was a life long logger and a resident of Amite. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Peterman Lambert, Amite; 3 sons, Bobby E. Lambert and wife, Pauline, Robert, Richard E. “Ricky” Lambert and wife, Jenny, Amite and David E. Lambert, Sr., St. Francisville; 7 grandchildren, Ricky Lambert, Jr., Amite, David Lambert, Jr. and wife, Theresa, Chesbrough, Bobby Lambert, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Stuttgart, AR, Jason Hamm, Ft. Stockton, TX, Amy Lynn Jackson and husband, Thomas, Picayune, MS, Jamie Lynn Lambert, Ponchatoula and Kiri Burrows, Odessa, TX; 6 great-grandchildren, Emily, Isabella and Garrett Jackson, Zachary and Brooke Lambert and Devin Roberts; brother, Billy Lambert and wife, Liz, Ponchatoula; 2 sisters, Frances Hughes, Roseland and Bonnie Johnson and her husband, Joe, Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Missouri Lambert; daughter, Brenda Joyce Henry; grandson, Zachary Adam Lambert; great-grandson, Connor Jackson; 2 brothers, Prentiss and Denman Lambert; 3 sisters, Myrtis Holden, Myrtle Sumrall and Joyce Sandifer. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Services conducted by Deacon Michael Agnello. Interment Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite.
