Tom Brister has three heart blockages. He is in a waiting mode for now. That gives plenty of time to pray now and in the coming days for him.

Donald Ray Burch A resident of Kentwood, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011 near Kentwood. He was born February 22, 1939 in Bluff Creek, LA and was 72 years of age. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a self employed contractor and farmer. His survivors include his 3 daughters, Missy Peroyea and her husband, Chip, Zachary, Suzanne Burch Travis, Kentwood and Elizabeth Thornton and her husband, Damien, Zachary; son, Donald Ray “Donny” Burch, Jr.; the mother of his children, Margaret Burch, Kentwood; 5 grandchildren, Erin and Charles Peroyea, Lewis and Landon Travis and Avery Thornton; 2 brothers, John “Jack” Burch, Sr., Kentwood and James “Sonny” Burch, Denham Springs; 6 sisters, Carolyn Easley, Kentwood, Barbara McDaniel, Baton Rouge, Jane Duncan, Kentwood, Grace Williams, Spring Creek, Cheryl Scott, Prairieville and Beverly Blades, Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Percy Burch and Rena Chaney Burch.
