(January 18, 1930 – February 21, 2011)
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was born January 18, 1930 in Birmingham, AL and was 81 years of age. Survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Mulina, Houston, TX, and Lynette Ivanyisky and her husband, Alan, Albany, son, David Mulina, Fishers, IN, sister, Lelia Cox, Amite, brother, Herbert Hayden and his wife, Amanda, Navasota, TX, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Mary Dykes Hayden, 2 daughters, Imogene Brown and Dianne Moore, son, Larry Wayne Mulina, 3 brothers, Earl Hayden, Aubrey Hayden, and Huey Hayden. A very special thanks to the staff at Ollie Steel Burden Manor for providing our mother with care, compassion and a loving environment for the past 4 years. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 with graveside services immediately following in the Amite Cemetery, Amite.
