Glyn Morse
(May 16, 1931 – September 23, 2010)

Mr. Glyn Morse was born on May 16, 1931 and passed away at 7:15 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 79, a native of Emerson, AR and a resident of Amite. Mr. Glyn served our country in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Glyn is survived by a son, Ronald “Butch” Morse and wife, Cheri, Tickfaw; 2 daughters, Deborah M. Rivers and husband, John, Independence and Stephanie M. Leruth and husband, Larry, Folsom; sister, Louise Taylor and husband, Earl, Linden, TX; 6 grandchildren, Wendy Turner and husband, Shaun, Stacy Davis and husband, TJ, Amanda Morse, Jessica Kyzar and husband, Ben, Ann Megan Morse, and Patricia Landry; 4 great grandchildren, Allie Davis, Carlie Turner, Ross Turner & Aubrey Davis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hall Morse, parents, Jim & Susie Morse; 4 sisters & 3 brothers.

Visitation will be at McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until Celebration of Life Services at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Earl Taylor and T.J. Davis, officiating. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Turner, T.J. Davis, Ben Kyzar, John Rivers, Larry Leruth, Mike Rumfola & Rayford Perry.
