Faye Jones Bond
(August 20, 1918 – September 21, 2010)

A resident of Pine Grove, she died on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was born August 20, 1918 in Elizabeth and was 92 years of age. She was a member of Montpelier Baptist Church. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Carolyn Bond Tinnea, Austin, TX and Margaret Bond Burch, Kentwood; a son, Newman L. Bond, Jr. and his wife, Celeste, Walker; 10 grandchildren, Ricky Watson and his wife, Angela, Alisa Raymond, Missy Peroyea and her husband, Chip, Suzanne Travis, Donny Burch, Elizabeth Thornton and her husband, Damien, Deanna Corkern and her husband, Paul, Randall Bond and his wife, Theresa, Michelle Sellers and her husband, Bill, and Kisha Ahles and her husband, Chris; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lewis Jones and his wife, Janice, Pine Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman L. Bond, Sr.; sister, Vera King; brother, Russell Jones; parents, George and Marvin Jones. The family would like to thank PrimeCare Home Health for their excellent care. Visitation at Shiloh Baptist Church, Pine Grove, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010. Services conducted by Rev. Darwin Hall. Interment Shiloh Cemetery, Pine Grove. Pallbearers will be Donny Burch, Randall Bond, Ricky Watson, Paul Corkern, Bill Sellers, Chip Peroyea and Chris Raymond.
