Don Goynes
(October 5, 1940 – September 9, 2010)

A resident of Montpelier, he died on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1940 in Pine Grove and was 69 years of age. Mr. Goynes was a life long member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Goynes; 5 sons, Duane, Tim, Troy, Buddy and Dylan Goynes; 5 grandchildren, Corey, Laura, Kayla, Megan and Colton Goynes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil and Ruby Goynes; 3 brothers, Lee, June and Jay Goynes. Visitation at Shiloh Baptist Church, Pine Grove, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010. Services conducted by Bro. Laverne King. Interment Shiloh Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Angel Tree Prison Fellowship, P. O.
