Kelly is survived by his wife, Debra Stewart Purvis, Kentwood; 2 sons, Jacob Richardson Purvis, Kentwood and Kalob Knud Purvis, French Settlement; a daughter, Jaci Firman, New Iberia; parents, Jules & Joyce Purvis, Peoria, IL; brother, Aaron Purvis, Peoria, IL; sister, Jamie Purvis, Peoria, IL; half-brother, Jessie Purvis, Peoria, IL; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Haspel R. & Margie Stewart, Kentwood..
He preceded in death by his grandfather, Milton Christensen.
Visitation at the McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until Celebration of Life Services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Blades officiating. Interment at a later date.
