A resident of Kentwood, died at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at his home. He was born November 25, 1957 and was 52 years of age. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 8 a.m. Friday until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday. Services conducted by Rev. Lane Cotton Winn. Interment Mixon Cemetery, Tangipahoa. Survived by loving wife of 20 years, Deanie Ricks Brumfield, son, John Pike, Kentwood, 2 daughters, Kristi Hyde and her husband, John, Arcola, and Ali Brumfield, Kentwood, 2 grandchildren, A.J. and Brooke Hyde, grandmother, Josephine Brumfield, Amite, 1 brother and 2 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Claude H. Brumfield, Sr and, Eleanor Vessier Brumfield, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milford and Betty Ricks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Claude H. Brumfield, Jr. at McKneely Funeral Home, 110 E. Factory St., Amite, LA.
