Died at 3:48AM on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a native of Magnolia, MS and a resident of Fluker, LA. Age 73 years. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Greensburg, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Thursday. Services conducted by Rev. Mark Robinson. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola, LA. Survived by husband, Earlo LaBauve, Fluker, 2 daughters, Sharon LaBauve Martin and her husband Curt, Kentwood and Elaine LaBauve Harrington and her husband, Ken, Denham Springs, son, Lawrence E. “Larry” LaBauve, Jr. and his wife Keri, Baton Rouge, 3 grandchildren, Misty Holder, Denham Springs, Destiny Martin, Kentwood, and Brendon LaBauve, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, James Eugene and Annie Williams Newman, 3 sisters, Helen Yentzen, Winnie Cox, and Myrtle Courtney, and brother, John Morris Newman.
