Colton Frazier, 19 is still at the University Hospital. He has still not opened his eyes but does move his arms and his legs. On Aug. 26 the doctors will be inserting a tracheostomy tube and feeding tube into his stomach. Please continue to pray for Colton and his family. May God Bless each and every one of you.
Michael Prevost is doing much better and was moved to a regular hospital room today.
Aaron McKay is doing okay too. He’s still hospitalized in McComb.
Will Easley continues to progress following his surgery this week. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

(November 12, 1927 – August 25, 2009)
HOUSTON L. BROWN, AGE 81
And a resident of Bolivar died at 9 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at his residence.
He loved farming and working on his farm. He retired from Bellsouth Telephone. He was an active mason for many years and was a member of Kentwood and Franklinton lodges, Eastern Star and also a shiner. He served in U.S. Marine Corps during Korean War and was a member of American Legion and VFW.
Survived by: 1 Son and daughter in law: Mack and Kathleen Brown of Mt. Hermon, 2 Daughters and a son in law: Rhonda Brown, Ellen and Jeff Waskom all of Stoney Point, 5 Grandchildren and spouses: Minda B. and Kevin Raybourn, David and Jodi M. Brown, Josh and Mallory Waskom, Jake Waskom, Melissa Waskom, 4 Great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Lewis Brown.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2009 and after 9 AM Thursday. A Masonic service will be held at 7 PM Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Burial will be in the Bolivar Baptist Church Cemetery.
