Selma Conerly Adams
(July 27, 1910 – August 20, 2008)
Died at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Slidell. She was a native of Livingston Parish and a resident of Slidell. Age 98 years. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 12 Noon until religious services at 1 p.m. Friday. Services conducted by Rev. Joey Miller. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra A. Bordelon, Slidell; 3 granddaughters, Susan Hayes, Cocoa, FL, Jill Brant, Slidell and Judy Stile, Slidell; 5 great-grandchildren, Eddie Hayes, Cocoa, FL, Steven Hayes, Cocoa, FL, Amanda Stile, Slidell, John Stile, Jr., Slidell and Joseph Stile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Price Adams; parents, Owen and Francis Thompson Conerly; brother, James Conerly.
