Jesse Dean is doing well enough with this knee that his knee doctor released him today. Thank God Jesse is doing so much better.
Frann S. Clark will have cataract surgery on the 5th. Please begin to pray for Frann as she prepares for, goes through, and recovers from this procedure.
Willie Murl Broome, Sr.
(November 5, 1936 – June 2, 2008)
Died at 10:08 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. He was a native of Foxworth, MS, a resident of Kentwood, LA and a retired Gunnery Seargent of the United States Marine Corps. Age 71 years. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Roland Broome, Kentwood; his daughters, Kelly Gingles and husband, Roger, Baton Rouge and Wendy Weigel, Baton Rouge; his sisters, Myron Elizabeth Parker, Poplarville, MS and Bessie Hayden, Amite; three grandchildren, Jeffery Weigel, Rachael Gingles and Melanie Zeringue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Verna Broome; a son, Willie M. Broome, Jr. Arrangements are pending at this time.

(December 22, 1957 – June 1, 2008) Mrs. Carolyn Sue Lauricelle died at 10:02AM, Sunday, June 1, 2008 at her residence in Loranger. She was 50 and a native of Independence. Visitation will be at the McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM and from 8:00AM until Religious Services at 10:30AM, Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Funeral Home Chapel. Services conducted by Bro. Bobby Carroll. Interment will be at the Arcola-Roseland Cemetery. She is survived by her Husband, Salvador Lauricelle, Smyrna, GA; 2 Daughters, Melissa Gragg, Power Springs, GA, Natasha Howell, Loranger; A Son, Christopher Lee, Natalbany; A Step-Son, Salvador Lauricelle, Jr., Independence; 2 Sisters, Debra Corkern, Hiram, GA, Charlotte Jones, Independence; 16 Grandchildren.
