Just got back from visiting Susan’s sister in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Please continue to pray
for her and the family. She is in much pain
and went to the ER while we were there. She will
see her local doctor today. Thanks for praying.

John “Pat” Jarrell passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Beloved father of Chablis Tate and spouse Matthew Tate of Kentwood, LA. Brother of Doug Jarrell, Don Jarrell and Nena Faye Glaze. Son of the late Alex “Jack” Jarrell and Julie “Nena” Jarrell. Also survived by a niece and nephews.

He had served for two terms on the WST Electric Board, two terms with the Tangipahoa Parish Council from 1992-2000. He was a rural postal carrier since 1980. Age 57 years. A native of Covington, LA and a resident of Kentwood, LA for the past 28 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Lee Road United Pentecostal Church, 17700 Hwy 40, Covington, LA 70435.

Visitation on Wednesday, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment in Simalusa Cemetery. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tangipahoa Parish United Way are preferred.
