Saturday Evening

Checked the site & beat the e-mail notice.
Things are looking better for Aaron & Marshall. Please pray for them & both families.
Frann Smith Clark

Tonight things are much better than they were this time yesterday. Aaron has made progress throughout today. He got some plasma and packed red blood cells and looks much better. The doctors have been giving him meds on and off throughout the day to try and help him recover from the cath. He is stable, but still has a long way to go. Please keep praying for Aaron and pray specifically that God will close the holes in his heart with His mighty healing hand…

Please say a prayer for Marshall tonight as well. He has had an offer of a heart. The transplant team is on site harvesting the child’s organs, so things are not final, but the heart is not damaged and is Marshall’s blood type so it will more than likely happen. Please pray for Jennifer and Jeremiah and their strength as Marshall undergoes his lengthy surgery and pray for the family who made this great sacrifice to save a child’s life when theirs was lost.

Update on Conner Corkern

HAPPY BELATED EASTER! I got lots of yummy baby food and a few fun musical toys…like my duckie!

Well, last Monday I posted how uneventful a week I had been having…well that all changed Monday afternoon. Momma was driving me to my doctor’s appointment (to get my monthly synagis injection). Well, while momma was driving on the interstate to Hammond she heard me make a weird sound. She looked back at me and I was having a seizure. The last time I had a seizure was last July. Momma was very scared and immediately pulled the car over to check on me. The last time I had a seizure momma and ReeRee had to give me my solu cortef shot because I was very unresponsive and lethargic. But thank goodness immediately after my seizure I went to sleep and was fine. We got the doctors office and called my Neurologist. We were instructed to get some blood work done and check out my sodium levels. They came back fine and I had to move my Keppra (seizure medicine) up from 2 mls to 2.5mls. Ever since then I have been fine…but still keep me in your prayers! 🙂 Thanks Mrs. Jennifer (my favorite nurse practitioner) for taking such good care of me.

Other than that I have a sore throat because of all the pollen in the air. My sinuses are draining and I can’t eat my formula! Only pedialyte and gatorade….the formula makes me gag. Also since my seizure my days and nights have completely been mixed up. The two days after my seizure I slept alot….that is what I do after my seizure. It wears me out. So, now I sleep all day and am awake for momma at night! She is thankful that she is off all week for Easter break and can spend all her time with me and Aaron! We are also planning on going to Global Wildlife this week. I am so excited…Aaron is too! I’m trying to put up some new pics from fundraisers and other new pics of me…so let’s see if I can do that!? I might need help Scott! 🙂 This Saturday we are going to the Healing Mass with the Father Seelos Relic at Holy Ghost at 4pm. I am soooooo excited! If you know anyone who needs some healing….please come! Oh, and the best news of all was on Good Friday…March 20-I was on the front page of the Daily Star….if you want you can check it out at http://www.hammondstar.com and search my name! I’m FAMOUS! Yay!!!!

Okay, gotta go eat some yummy bubble gum flavored pedialyte now…yum yum! Thanks for your continued support….oh if you are bored you can check out some kids who have been to China blogs….very good reading material!
