Mr. Joe died at 6:30AM, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at his residence in Roseland. Visiation at the McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 8:00AM until Religious Services at 10:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Services Conducted by Bro. Gary Martinez. Interment in the Hughes Cemetery. Survived by 2 Daughters: Patricia Sparacello, Loranger, Elaine Weaver, Amite. 4 Sons: Joseph “Joe” Rick, Jr., DeRidder, Dorman A. “Drew” Rick, Sr., Loranger, Tennis L. Rick, Roseland, Chris A. Rick, Kentwood. Preceded in death by his wife: Melva Hughes Rick, Grandson, Scottie Rick. Mr. Joe was an avid Hunter & Fisherman.
