Mr. Joe died at 6:30AM, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at his residence in Roseland. Visiation at the McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 8:00AM until Religious Services at 10:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Services Conducted by Bro. Gary Martinez. Interment in the Hughes Cemetery. Survived by 2 Daughters: Patricia Sparacello, Loranger, Elaine Weaver, Amite. 4 Sons: Joseph “Joe” Rick, Jr., DeRidder, Dorman A. “Drew” Rick, Sr., Loranger, Tennis L. Rick, Roseland, Chris A. Rick, Kentwood. Preceded in death by his wife: Melva Hughes Rick, Grandson, Scottie Rick. Mr. Joe was an avid Hunter & Fisherman.
Mr. Joe Rick of Roseland passed away last night. His granddaughter told me, “At least he got saved”! Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Larry Miller’s sister, Beverly, passed away. The funeral will be near her home with burial here.

Died at 5:26 p.m. at his residence in Monticello, Arkansas. He was a native of Montpelier and a resident of Monticello, Arkansas. Age 25 years. Visitation at McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, Saturday February 23, 2008 from 12Noon until Religious Services at 3:00p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. W.S. Manchester and Rev. Brady Whitton. Interment in Montpelier Cemetery. He is survived by his Mother, Cindi M. Blades and her husband, Bill, Montpelier; His Father, Robert “Bob” Clemons Sr. and his wife, Vonda, Monticello,Ark.; His Sister, Kim Konzelman Webb and her husband, Wil, Madison,Ms.; Nephew, Baylor Travis, Madison, Ms., Grandparents, Marilyn Bond Morgan and the late Thomas E. “Bobbie” Morgan, Montpelier; June Lester “Nan” Clemons, Amite; William “Bruce” Clemons and his wife, Gwyn, Monticello, Ark.; Great-Grandmother Imogene S. Clemons, Hammond; 3 Uncles and 3 Aunts and numerous cousins. “Will” was an avid outdoorsman and Saints Fan and loved his Ninja Turtles.

Died at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was a native of Bolivar and a resident of Amite. Age 85 years. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until Memorial Services at 8 p.m. on Tuesday conducted by Rev. Danny Smith. She is survived by her son, Gene “Butch” White and his wife, Maria, Amite; 2 daughters, Trudy Nelson and her husband, Mark, Lakeland, FL and Candy Wallace and her husband, Rhett, Amite; 5 grandchildren, Christina Maria Mosser, Landon Rhett Wallace, Sarah Camille Wallace, Kimberly Grace Nelson, and Kevin Michael Nelson; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryan Andrew Mosser and Graysen Layne Wallace; brother, Arthur Gates, Kentwood; aunt, Christine Wall, Kentwood; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. http://www.cancer.org
