(In honor of those from Spring Creek who trusted God with their lives last night! –

The best message a mama can get is when her child tells her that she just got saved tonight at church camp.)

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

~2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT~

We are thankful for the rain, almost two inches, we received Saturday afternoon.  God’s timing is always right!

We will be having revival services every Monday night in July @ 7:00. This Monday night, July 1st, Roll Away the Stone will be leading us in worship, and Dr. Larry LeBlanc from FBC Summit will be preaching. I hope to see all of you there, and I especially hope to see a large crowd of young adults. Don’t miss it! Let’s get rejuvenated in our faith so that we will be empowered to serve Jesus more faithfully. No Sunday night services so no excuses!

Update on Austin Rose (His parents grew up in Amite.)

Update on Austin…. For all of my friends who are praying for Austin ( and there are so MANY that it warms heart ) please continue to do so. He has been diagnosed with Mature B-cell leukemia/lymphoma. While we are shell shocked, we have been told there is a 90% cure rate and that is what we are hanging on to! Mature B Cell is aggressive so it requires aggressive treatment…he will have his first round of chemo today or tomorrow, depending on his strength. He will undergo surgery this morning to put in a vas cath ( catheter) in case his kidneys have trouble after chemo processing all of the cancer cell debris. So that is where we stand right now. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and ask Our Heavenly Father to grace us with a complete healing. From the bottom of my heart… Thank you so much.

Greensburg First Baptist Youth is hosting a CAR WASH & BAKE SALE TOMORROW!!!
