This lady inspired my life in many ways.  She possessed faith, love, and skills I hope I passed on to my students.

Christmas Late Afternoon

I’m thanking God the worst of the weather seems to have cleared our area.  We are okay.  Daddy is okay.  I trust all of you are okay too.  This will be one of those memorable Christmases.

Julie, my sister from Ponchatoula, asked for prayer for her mother-in-law and our aunt, Eva Smith from northern Alabama.  She has been diagnosed with MRSA.  Julie requests your prayer support.

Christmas

Happy birthday, Jesus.  You are the greatest gift the world has ever received.  A gift has to be accepted.  I pray people around the world will accept You as the most precious gift ever.

The rain is starting, so I’m up to turn the computer off and unplug it.  I just heard the first thunder.

Everyone have a great day.  We will.  David and I both feel better and are looking forward to talking with our children and grandchildren.  It’s almost lunch time in Prague, so that phone call will come first.  We need to tell our daughter, “Happy birthday!”.  We’ll wait a few hours before calling our family in Rome, GA.

Make sure Jesus is the biggest celebration of your day!  Merry CHRISTmas!

Christmas Eve

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.”

~Romans 15:13 NIV~

Pray for Mrs. Floyce Raiford, mother of Pam Bankston.  The families live at Arcola.

Pray for Dan Turner, who continues to make progress in baby steps.  His breathing progress is his latest step.

Two Christmas Eve services that I am aware of:

  • 5:00 @ Pine Ridge United Methodist Church
  • 5:30 @ East Fork Baptist Church

Be sure to keep Christ in your Christmas!  Singing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus is especially sweet with little children.
