Frankie Roberts Doss
(November 3, 1921 – October 26, 2012)

Frankie Doss of Amite, LA, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2012, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was 90 years old, born November 3, 1921, in Leesville, LA. Mrs. Doss was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Doss, her son Ed Doss of Beaumont, TX, and son-in-law, Lyndell Bankston of Orange Park, FL. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Doss Blount and husband, Steve, of Denham Springs, LA and Brenda Doss Bankston of Orange Park, FL; and two sons, Hubert Doss and wife, Kaye, of Louisville, KY; Terry Doss and wife, Barbara, of Augusta, GA; and daughter-in-law, Penney Doss of Beaumont, TX. Six grandsons, Keith Thompson of Knoxville, TN, David Doss of Mandeville, LA, Scott Doss of Beaumont, TX, Kevin Bankston of Orange Park, FL, Bryan Blount of Denham Springs, LA and Matthew Doss of Augusta, GA. Five granddaughters, Donna Doss of Kingston Springs, TN, Carla Doss-Skaggs of Smith’s Grove, KY, Sherri Bankston of Orange Park, FL, Trisha Doss of New York, NY and Heather Blount Rougeou of Prairieville, LA. Mrs. Doss was so proud of her fifteen wonderful great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Special thanks to Golden Age Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided. Hospice Compassus for the comfort measures and sincere compassion. Dr. Louis Hargus for your many years of care, but especially for your guidance during the difficult last few years. Special thanks to Anna Mitchell and Joyce Williams, her care providers who were with her night and day and made it possible for her to remain at home longer. Visitation will be at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 11 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012. Service conducted by Bro. Dennis Walker. Robert Dale Dunaway
(July 2, 1935 – October 25, 2012)

A resident of Cleveland, TN, he died on Wednesday, October 25, 2012 at Life Care Center in Collegedale, TN. He was born July 2, 1935 in Bogalusa and was 77 years of age. He is survived by 5 step-daughters, Francis Callihan, Athens, TN, Carol King, Cleveland, TN, Patricia Fuller, Kentwood, Wanda Royals Kentwood and Evelyn Addison, Amite; 2 step-sons, James Granger, Cleveland, TN and Steve Granger, Georgetown, TN. Preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Moak Dunaway; 2 step-daughters, Marie Coates and Ora Granger. Archie’s wife, Brenda (Mixon), had a heart attack last night. She was in Coushatta visiting her parents. She is in ICU at Shumpert Hospital in Shreveport. Please put her and Archie on yall’s prayer list.

I know many of you remember Archie and Brenda.  It’s okay to pray for them whether you remember them or no.

Patricia Cecelia Neal
(December 15, 1947 – October 24, 2012)

A life long resident of New Orleans and resident of Kentwood for the last 7 years, she died at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe as the result of a heart attack after a short illness. She was born December 15, 1947 in New Orleans and was 64 years of age. She is survived by her daughter, Anne E. Holley; grandson, Adam M. Holley; father, Hamilton “Mike” Neal, Jr.; sister, Erin N. Tamporello; brother, Michael H. Neal; 4 nieces and nephews, Michael A. Tamporello, Michelle C. Tamporello and Melissa A. Tamporello Matthew Tamporello; 2 uncles, Henry J. Hoffstadt, Jr. and Robert J. Neal; aunt, Lynda H Walker, She is preceded in death by mother, Alma Hoffstadt Neal; 3 aunts, Blanche H. Montz, Earllea H. Perez and Camille H. Casey. David and I went back to revival at Kedron Baptist Church last night.  What a blessing to be in the service!
