Saturday Afternoon – Part II

I’m happy to announce that Zach Rhodes, son of Rev. Keith and Lori Rhodes, graduated from Haughton High School today as class valedictorian (Is anyone surprised?  I’m not!) and will be attending NSU is Natchitoches in the fall on a full scholarship majoring in music education and hoping to march in the band playing snare drum.  Thank God for the amazing young man he has always been and pray for him as he goes to the next phase of his education.

Rachel, Zach’s sister, is also a fantastic student.  I’m anxious to see what God has in store for her in a few years.

Thank-you, God, for allowing my family and my church to cross paths with this awesome family.

Jadon’s Story

Another great true story to attest of God’s hand in healing

Mrs. Lillian Brister had a heart transplant and received the heart of a 10 month old boy from Colorado.  Saturday, his parents will be coming here to visit Lillian in her home.  She is doing well.  The little boy’s heart gives her that opportunity.

Isn’t it wonderful what God has allowed the medical world to accomplish!  That’s just three stories, but, oh, what marvelous stories they are, especially for these three families.  Take time to recognize what He has done in your family and your little world.  Then, thank Him!
