Monday Midday

Sunday, when I told Jimmy Schwartz he was looking good, he said. “Please, don’t say that about me”.  That’s what his nurse told him just before he was admitted to the hospital last month.  I quickly said, “Jimmy, you look terrible!’.  This morning Jimmy passed out at home.  Thankfully, Ruby was at home too.  Jimmy is in North Oaks again and feeling much better.  Please pray for the family as they “ride this roller coaster” with Jimmy.

Pray for Cynthia Smith’s sister and my school classmate, Susan V. Johnson from Amite.  She has had her first radiation treatment and is doing well at this time.  Pray for Susan as she continues her treatment.

Pray for Rev. Mike Shomoch, pastor of East Fork Baptist Church.  He experienced an electrical shock a couple weeks ago.  Friday, he was admitted to Southwest where they did a heart test which indicated two blockages.  Bro. Mike needed two stents.  He’s home and was even able to go to church last night.

East Fork Baptist church will be having a churchwide yard sale Saturday, May 5th from 7:00 until 1:30.  Contact Dana (Justin) Hendry if you wish to donate items for the sale.  She will be available to meet you at the church to drop off your items or will pick them up, if needed.  Mark May 5th on your calendar.

Mrs. Anne Hurst was the guest speaker at the WMU meeting this morning.  She really blessed our hearts as she shared.
