What a week!  Last week, Marsha Bankston was in church.  Now, she has been in Oschner since Monday and ICU since the middle of the week.  Keep praying for her and her family, Larry, Daniel,  Michael, Steven and the families of the boys.

Mrs. Laura Joiner was in church last week when she fell and broke her leg and hit her face on a pew.  She’s been hospitalized in New Orleans all week and has had surgery on her let.  Keep praying all goes well as she heals.

Mrs. Mary Alice Blackwell and Jimmy Schwartz did not have a diagnosis for their illnesses.  Now, we know she has a brain tumor and will have surgery midday tomorrow in Hammond and Jimmy has myelofibrosis with a choice of treatment plans.

Kathy Jo Thompson is experiencing some pain, but otherwise, her surgery went well.  Please continue to pray for her.

Sherry Simpson is back in Nashville waiting for another test tomorrow.  She is hurting again.  Pray her doctor can correct her problem and take away the pain.

David Allen says he doesn’t feel any differently after beginning his treatment.  Pray for him and his family as he goes through treatment.

The obituary for Patty Allison had a mistake.  The name of her brother is Danny Hays, not Danny Erwin.

Pray for Jim and Drue Strickland as they celebrate the life of their mother, Evelyn Day Strickland Duplechan.  She grew up in Kentwood, but lived in Roseland many years before moving to Georgia for her last years.

I’m looking forward to some rain today.  It will help the gardens that have been worked in so much.

Because of health complications, our sweet Carol Jean will be moved today from Rehab to Our Lady of the Lake for a while. Keep those prayers coming, folks. It’s another bump in the road, but God is by our side. All of your care and concern is so appreciated.

Randall Webb was born December 26, 1953 and passed away at 6:19 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. He was 58 and a resident of Brookhaven, MS.

He survived by his mother, Mrs. Billie Freeman Webb.

Preceded in death by his father, Charles Glen Webb.
