“If anyone competes as an athlete,

he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules …

Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.”

~2 Timothy 2:5, 7, NASB~

Mike Moore, husband of Robin Wilson Moore, went for a check-up yesterday.

Mike just left the doctor’s office in Memphis. The tumor has not shrunk any, but it also has not grown. The doctor is more concerned about tumors growing, so he told Mike not to worry about a thing and to come back in 6 months! Thanks so much for the prayers!

Jason Dean had a good report after some tests yesterday.

Carol Russell, formerly of Roseland, is having a medical test today.  Pray for her today.

Today’s Hymn of the Day – “Little Brown Church in the Vale” – http://cyberhymnal.org/htm/l/i/littlebc.htm

I remember first hearing this hymn at Big Creek Church of Christ.  I was amazed with both the hymn and the voices that blended so well without any musical instruments.  It’s been one of my favorites since that night about fifty years ago.  We know it today as “The Church in the Wildwood”.
