John Charles Houeye, Sr.
(August 6, 1934 – January 6, 2013)

A resident of Roseland, died at 9 a.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at St. Helena Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was born August 6, 1934 in Roseland and was 78 years of age. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, a former FHA Supervisor and owner of Golden “H” Dairy Farm. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice P. Houeye, Roseland; 4 sons and a daughter, John Charles Houeye, Jr., Amite, Michael Shaun Houeye and wife, Stephanie, Roseland, Daniel lee Houeye and wife, Sally, Roseland, Jennifer Beatrice Houeye, Roseland and Alex Jeffery Houeye and wife, Shelly, Kentwood; 11 grandchildren, Shelby, John Michael, Clayton, Seth, Bradley, Ryan, Allyson, Amber, Kaitlyn, Alex and Kaylee. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur Lee Houeye, Sr. and Gladys Dorhauen Houeye; 2 brothers, Arthur Lee Houeye, Jr. and Donald Houeye. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Services conducted by Rev.
