Mrs. Mary Young’s surgery went well yesterday. She was able to go home to recuperate. Pray for this time to go well too.
Sim Bankston was able to leave North Oaks and is now home. Pray for him as he continues to recover.
Wanda Cage also was able to go home from the hospital. Keep her in your prayers too.
Carl F. Reed, Jr.
(October 11, 1922 – March 29, 2010)
Mr. Carl F. Reed, Jr. was born October 11, 1922 and passed away at 8:24 a.m., Monday, March 29, 2010 at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary, LA. Mr. Carl was 87, a native of Bastrop, LA and a resident of Jackson, LA.
He is survived by his brother, A. W. Reed and wife, Sandy, Kentwood and their children; Ken Roberts and wife, Kasey, Baton Rouge, and their children, Preston & Hallie; Cyndi Miller and husband, Eddie, Denham Springs, and their children, Darby, Tess & Reed; Brent Reed and wife Tara, Beaumont, TX and their child, Reagan.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. Reed, Sr. and Rose Mizell Reed: sister, Dorothy Reed Dowling.
Masonic graveside funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cemetery, Bastrop, LA on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

ROMA CLUSTER PRAYER REQUESTS FOR APRIL 2010
Pray for the Roma cluster members
- Czech Republic: Boyd and Jennie Hatchel, Joe and Julie Silby
- Romania: Bob and Gayle Hill, Daniel Byrd, Wes and Tamara Banks
- Poland: Jerry and Brenda Goss
- Macedonia: Betty Easter, Karen Blackburn, Eric and Jill Boyd, BT and Jessica Burke, Emily Harrison, Gef Smock
- Bulgaria – Cheryl Argabright; Cameron and Jennifer Phillips – they have been approved for appointment in the spring and will be arriving on the field later in the year
- USA: Lisa Kail – administrative assistant in TN
- Steve James – IMB media representative for the Roma cluster
Pray for special personal requests among the members
- Give praise for Tim Marza who will be transferring from Italy to Romania to work among the Roma. He is a seasoned worker with good experience and a great heart for service.
- The Silby family gives praise to the Father for their health this last month. It has been a drastic improvement! Pray for them to continue to be healthy.
- Pray for their son Ryan who is exploring school options elsewhere. Pray for Joe and Julie as they think about letting him go.
- Jerry and Brenda ask prayer for their daughter Tara Pierce who is due to deliver any day. It is the first grandchild – a granddaughter Keren. Pray for Brenda as she is there with Tara and then for her safe return to Poland after the delivery.
- Pray for Wes and Tamara as they seek God’s direction for the future. Their complete trust is in Him and they are willing to say “yes” wherever He leads. Give praise with them for His faithfulness and provision. They are seeing Him continue to work in their lives as they are preparing to return to the states in May. He continues to give them encouragement and joy during this time. Give God praise for all He is preparing for them in the future. They have even found a Roma church in Atlanta! Pray for Tamara and the boys to remain diligent with school studies during this transition time. Pray for the whole family as they emotionally prepare to return to America.
- Pray for Eric and Jill as they prepare to leave for the states on April 28th. Pray for them as they seek the Lord regarding employment.
- Pray for BT and Jessica as they continue language study. Pray that they would continue to improve and that their vocabulary would multiply.
- Pray for the health of the family of BT and Jessica. Pray for Jessica especially with the pregnancy that she would feel better soon.
